Self-Care Meditation for Moms: Reclaim Your Identity in Motherhood (With Pranic Healing)

Lost, foggy, a little bit gone. This self-care meditation was made for the version of you that feels that way inside motherhood right now.
Not lost like you don’t know where the diaper bag is. Lost like you can’t quite remember who you were before every ounce of your attention went to someone else’s needs. If that’s you today, mama, I want you to know something gently and clearly: you are not alone, and you are not broken. You’ve just been giving so much of yourself away that there’s been no time to come back to you.
This guided meditation is here to help you do exactly that.
It’s more than a relaxation session. Tucked inside it is a full distant Pranic Healing session β what’s called Pranic Psychotherapy β worked into the meditation itself, so your energy body is being cleansed and re-balanced in real time as you listen.

What Makes This More Than a Simple Self-Care Meditation
A lot of self-care meditations ask you to breathe and relax, and then they leave it there. This one goes further.
While you rest, I’m working directly with your energy body. I call in Source, Divine Mother and Divine Father, Master Choa, the Lineage of Pranic Healing, Mother Guanyin, the Archangels, and the Angels and Guardians of mothers everywhere, and I ask to be a clear channel for their love and guidance.
Then I move through your aura and your core energy centers β your chakras β one by one. Each one holds a different piece of who you are. By the end, you’re not just relaxed. You’re cleansed, re-energized, and reminded of your own wholeness.
Cleansing Your Aura with Electric Violet Light
Before we ever get to a specific chakra, we start with your aura β the energetic field that surrounds your whole body.
If you’re a tired, touched-out mom, your aura is probably carrying more than you realize. Other people’s stress. Your own worry. The mental noise of a hundred small tasks. None of that is yours to keep.
In the meditation, I bring in electric violet light β an image of electric white light flecked with violet sparks. This is a purifying, high-vibration energy in Pranic Healing, and it’s exactly what clears out the stale, heavy energy that motherhood tends to pile on.
You’ll breathe this light in through your crown and feel it move down through your whole body, then breathe it out through the base of your spine and your feet, carrying everything you don’t need out with it. We do this twice, so there’s time for your body to really let go.
Once your aura is clear, we’re ready to go deeper.

A Chakra Meditation to Restore Your Sense of Self
Here’s where the real reclaiming happens.
Each chakra isn’t just a symbol β it’s a real center of consciousness in your energy body, and it responds to the attention you give it. As I cleanse and energize each one in the meditation, I want you to understand why that particular center matters so much for a mom trying to find her way back to herself.

Solar Plexus: Your Power and Your Boundaries
We begin at your Solar Plexus, right between your lower ribs.
This is the seat of your personal identity. It’s where your sense of power lives, and it’s also where your boundaries are held β or lost. Ever feel like you disappear a little in the constant giving of motherhood? Your Solar Plexus is usually where that shows up first, because it’s also where stress tends to settle and store itself.
As this center is cleansed and energized, you’re invited to silently affirm: I am powerful. I am whole. I know who I am. That’s not a hopeful phrase. It’s a truth we’re helping your energy body remember.

Heart Center: Leading with Love Again
Next we move to your Heart center, between your breasts.
Your Heart balances the power of your Solar Plexus with love and wisdom, so you’re not just strong β you’re strong and open. This is also one of the most magnetic centers in your whole energy body. When it’s clear, it has a way of drawing good things back into your life.
While this center is being worked on, you can place a single word there, something like love, freedom, or joy, and simply let yourself feel it. There’s nothing to force here. Just warmth, and gratitude for a heart that keeps showing up for everyone it loves.
Sex Chakra: Honoring the Center That Helped You Become a Mother
We continue to your Sex Chakra, located in your pubic area, between your Basic and Navel Chakras.
This center governs procreation and earthly pleasure, and it’s directly linked to your Throat Chakra, which means it also feeds your creative expression. It’s easy to overlook this part of yourself once you’re deep in the daily work of raising children. But this chakra worked hard to help bring your child into the world, and it deserves your thanks, not your neglect.
As it’s cleansed, simply let yourself acknowledge that. It carried you through something enormous.

Throat Chakra: Making Room for Your Voice
From there we move to your Throat Chakra, right at the middle of your throat.
This is your center for higher creativity, authenticity, and personal expression β the part of you that wants to speak, create, and be heard as yourself, not only as “mom.” So many moms quiet this center without meaning to, simply because there’s no time left in the day to use it.
As your Throat Chakra is cleansed and energized, sit with two questions. What would it feel like to freely express all of who you are? And what would it feel like to actually create the life you want, instead of just managing the one you have?
Basic Chakra: Feeling Grounded Again
Now we settle into your Basic Chakra, at the base of your spine.
This center governs your capacity for survival and steady, dynamic action. When it’s strong and balanced, you feel grounded. Firm in yourself. Not easily knocked over by whatever the day throws at you, which, if you’re a mom, is a lot.
In the meditation, imagine roots growing down from this chakra deep into the earth, like the roots of a great tree. Feel how steady that makes you. Nothing can shake you here.

Ajna Chakra: Calling Your Energy Back to Yourself
Finally, we arrive at your Ajna Chakra, right between your eyebrows.
The Ajna is the master of all your other chakras. It governs your higher willpower, your ability to direct your own life with intention rather than just reacting to everyone else’s needs.
As this center is cleansed and energized, we do something important together. You call your own energy back. Silently or out loud, you can repeat:
I now call back my energy from all people, places, and situations that no longer serve me. I call all my energy back to me now.
This is the moment where so much of your scattered attention, the parts of you that have been spread across a hundred small worries, comes home.
I Am Whole. I Am Strong. I Know Who I Am. I Am Seen.
By the time this self-care meditation is complete, your aura has been cleansed, and your Solar Plexus, Heart, Sex Chakra, Throat, Basic, and Ajna have all been worked on with love.
What’s being rebuilt underneath all of it is a set of beliefs your energy needs to hold onto:
- I am whole.
- I am strong.
- I know who I am.
- I am seen.
Not as something you have to convince yourself of. As something your energy body remembers once the noise is cleared away.
You can end the meditation by giving yourself a mental hug, simply for taking this time for you. That alone is an act of self-care most moms don’t give themselves nearly enough.
Final Thoughts on This Self-Care Meditation
Alright, mama. This self-care meditation is really an invitation. Not just to relax for a few minutes, but to let a real Pranic Healing session move through you and clear space for you to feel whole, strong, and like yourself again.
Motherhood asks a lot of you. This is a chance to receive something back.
This post was all about the self-care meditation and Pranic Psychotherapy session I created to help you cleanse your aura, restore your core energy centers, and remember: you are whole, you are strong, you know who you are, and you are seen.
