Beyond Mom Rage: Finding Calm Through Self-Care and Energy Healing Β

Letβs face it, Mamas. Weβve all been there at one point or another. Mom rage. Thatβs right, that uncontrollable anger that erupts like a volcano past its due date. You almost see it in those last few seconds, but it comes at you like a moving freight train, and all you can do is just stand there with your mouth open.
Well, thatβs what it feels like to me anyway. But the point is that this is a very common state of affairs among mothers. Most of us are overextended with high expectations and little support.
The good news is that Iβve been able to make leaps and bounds when it comes to mom rage. One obvious reason is that my kids are older. The other, KEY reason though, is energy work.
In this post, youβll find out how energy work helped me put that rage volcano to bed 99.8% of the time. I also introduce my distant Pranic Healing video for mom rage, which you can use right away to manage yours.
Mom Rage is Huge
According to a May 2026 survey of 400 parents (75% women and 25% men), 77% reported feeling rage symptoms in the past month. This follows an earlier survey that found 48% of parents experienced βcompletely overwhelmingβ stress most days, compared with just 26% of adults without kids.
So why is mothering so hard?
As mothers, we bear the brunt of parenting β forget breastfeeding; I mean all the minute details like buying groceries, making food, taking care of the doctor’s appointments, paying the household bills, laundry, cleaningβ¦ (Shall we stop now?)
In a pre-COVID survey of women, 78% admitted that they put their familyβs needs before their own, making self-care the last priority!
Does that sound about right to you? Because itβs so true to me!
Well, no wonder we are silently, but significantly, boiling underneath it all.
And the shift is so dramatic when you have your first kid. You get so disoriented by the changes in your attention, priorities, and expectations when your hormones are majorly shifting and messing with your brain, too!

How Energy Healing Cooled My Mom Rage
For me, a regular meditation practice has been a lifeline.
Of course, itβs challenging to find the time to have quiet and alone time when you have tiny ones. But I did what I could, like hopping on stepping stones over gushing water.
Still, it was hard in the early days. I was angry, tired, and resentful. I often wanted to run away. I had this tiny fantasy of moving to a small, Midwestern city and becoming a waitress at a sleepy diner. At least Iβd be free!
I felt so guilty for feeling this way.
This was a familiar narrative that my own mother expressed to me when I was a child. The life that she couldnβt live because of us. (Scary, if you ask me.)
But I hung in there. Slowly but surely, my kids got older. And I got trained in Reiki.

The 10-month Reiki Master program at the Muktinath Holistic Center and healing sessions with my teacher stripped away certain energies and gave me back my calm.
In retrospect, it healed my nervous system in a way that made me feel stronger and bigger. More able to deal with the changes and the pressures.
Since those days, Iβve grown as an energetically aware human being. I can now help othersβquite effectively, I might addβheal wounds and feel differently.
In the end, all that mom rage helped me grow bigger in ways I never could have imagined.Β Like the dark night of the soul that brings an entirely new morning, it changed who I am.Β

Pranic Healing for Mom Rage Β Β
That’s exactly why I made this session: Pranic Healing for Mom Rage. It’s not a session that promises you’ll never feel angry again β that’s not how healing works.
But as you take a little bit of time to get quiet, turn inwards, and take care of yourself, youβre setting the intention for healing. It is an act of self-love and sustenance that will carry you next time you are overwhelmed and stretched thin.
But for me, the best work is done when Iβm not already in it. When I can freely reach for calm and peace and fill myself up. And repeat as much as I can. Energy work supercharges this process.
Of course, you can try to stop mom rage as it happens. Try counting to 10 or stepping away to the bathroom until the train passes.
How Pranic Healing Supports You With Mom Rage
In Pranic Healing, we don’t just work with your thoughts or your willpower. We work directly with your energy body, the layer of you that holds stress, anger, and old patterns long after your mind has moved on to the next thing on the to-do list.
This session includes what’s called Pranic Psychotherapy: a distant healing session sent directly to you, working with the energy centers that most affect your stress, irritability, and anxiety.

What Happens During This Pranic Psychotherapy Session
Before any of the energy work begins, I call in the support and protection of Source and higher beings. This invocation allows much higher energies than me to come do the work, and supercharges the process.
Once the invocation is complete, the healing itself moves through several layers of your energy body. I want to walk you through each one, because understanding why we work on a particular area makes the experience land so much deeper.

Your Aura, Cleansed with Electric Violet Energy
We begin at your aura, the energetic field that surrounds your whole body. This is where the residue of a hard day tends to collect first: the tension from being touched all day, the mental noise of managing everyone else’s needs, the irritation you didn’t have time to process.
I cleanse your aura with electric violet energy, a high-vibration, purifying frequency that clears out exactly this kind of stale, heavy buildup. Think of it as wiping the slate before we get to more detailed work.
Solar Plexus: Where Your Power (and Your Stress) Lives
Your Solar Plexus, right between your lower ribs, is the seat of your personal power and identity. It’s also, notably, where stress tends to physically store itself.
If you’ve ever felt that hot, tight knot in your stomach right before you snapped, that’s your Solar Plexus talking.
Cleansing and energizing this center helps release the stress that’s been sitting there, sometimes for days, and restores your sense of grounded personal power, so you’re responding to your life instead of just reacting to it.
Heart Chakra: Softening Back Into Love
Next, we move to your Heart, between your breasts.
Your Heart Chakra is what allows you to lead with love and wisdom instead of pure defense mode. When it’s clear, it’s so much easier to soften back toward your kids after a hard moment, without carrying guilt for the rest of the day.

Crown Chakra: Connection to Something Bigger Than the Chaos
Your Crown, at the very top of your head, is your connection point to Source, to spirit, to whatever you call the bigger picture beyond the immediate chaos of a Tuesday afternoon. Cleansing this center helps you zoom out, even briefly, from the tunnel vision that rage can create.
Ajna Chakra: Your Center of Higher Will
Your Ajna, right between your eyebrows, governs your higher willpower. In Pranic Healing, it is considered the master of your other chakras. When this center is clear, you have more capacity to pause before reacting. Not perfectly, not every time. But more than you did before.
Throat Chakra: Speaking From Calm, Not From Rage
Finally, your Throat Chakra, right at your throat. This is your center of authentic expression, and it’s often exactly where mom rage escapes from, in words we don’t mean and wish we could take back the second they’re out.
Cleansing and energizing this center supports you in speaking from a calmer, more grounded place, even when your kids are testing every last nerve you have.
By the end, your aura and each of these centers have all been reprogrammed with the energies of calm, peace, and patience.

Finding Your Safe Place
There’s one more piece of this session I love, and it’s simple: a guided visualization to a place where you feel completely safe.
It can be somewhere real, a favorite spot in nature or a specific memory. Or it can be somewhere entirely imaginary, a place that exists only in your mind but feels just as safe and content.
If other thoughts try to pull you away, you simply let them float by and come back to your safe place. This part matters more than it might seem. Your nervous system needs somewhere to land besides the moment that triggered you, and this gives it exactly that.
We close the session the way I close all of them: gently coming back to your body, noticing how you feel now compared to when you started, and giving yourself a hug for taking care of you. Not your kids. Not your household. You.
Final Thoughts
Mom rage is real, and it deserves real compassion, not just for the people it affects, but for you, in the center of it.
This Pranic Healing session won’t erase hard days. What it offers instead is a way to take care of yourself with cleansing, calm, and patience, instead of shame.
I hope this session becomes a place you return to, again and again, whenever you need to come back to calm before you react.
This session is offered as a spiritual and energetic wellness practice, and isn’t a substitute for medical or mental health care. If anger or overwhelm ever feels unsafe for you or your family, please reach out to a licensed professional.
With so much love and light, Sol
